Charity Boats is a non profit organization created by those that strive to help others. Charity Boats is ran by The Giving Center, which is a 501(c)(3) charity. • You will be contacted – will you be contacted by one of our volunteers within just a few short business days. They will arrange a convenient time for your boat to be picked up with the transportation agent free of charge to you.
  • Once your boat is picked up- it's transferred to one of our facilities and the vessel then gets inspected. Any repairs that are needed are done. At that time the donated boat is either returned to a program or individual supported directly by our own program. For the vessels that cannot be saved, we do our best to achieve top market value through sale. If possible, we will make repairs to the donation prior to sale to further increase its value. We then use the proceeds from the boat sale to provide housing, clothing, food and other basic necessities for the thousands of individuals who contact us each year in need of help.

  • You will receive a tax deduction – All donors that we receive boat dontions from will be able to make a tax deduction with the IRS. As a donor you receive a full market value federal deduction! This could reduce your tax obligations by thousands. We make sure that you receive maximum possible tax benefits for your boat donation.
